“Moodswings” is a steady pacing and plentiful indie rock/folk merger. The instrumental part, with its pleasantly digestible, vivid, and foamy sound, is made with a lot of heart and has magic in it. The winged piano passages appear in the second verse, and at 2:48 there’s a gluhwein-y synth solo. Julia Logan’s stunning vocal delivery sways you on the velvety chorus waves.
