Extra Space, a Brooklyn group, rolled out the atmospheric third single from “Green Season,” their upcoming debut LP.
The track’s lively, jangly, warm guitarism is supported by an uplifting rhythm section. On top of that, there are also velvety ambient layers. The arpeggiated Midwest emo tendency switches to scenic plateau-like indie rock and back, showcasing the engaging development of “Cig.” The vocals have a tender tone with a cloudy tuneful feeling.
