Meet the Vancouver instrumentalists Idle Moon with a driving portion of their debut release.
The track “Blindly Running Towards the Ocean” offers adventurous acid Western-flavored funk. The playing of sonorous, dense and adroit guitar, drums and bass has a contrasting dynamic, which gives the feeling of horseback riding. The keyboard melody evokes the spirit of sacred quests and hazardous chases in distant, sun-baked, deadly canyons and ghost cities. All in all, the quartet's 25-minute album “NOMAD” guarantees a pretty absorbing mood.
