Z. Lou, an outfit from Garden Grove, California, has dropped a fantastic new tune.
“Am I Giving Up Again?” is a recreational, leisurely drifting with an amalgam of bedroom pop and neo-psychedelia. The instrumental, as if prone to a free form, submerges into the warm, lysergic ocean expanse. The synthesizers and guitars shimmer sweetly and headily to the softened bass and drum steps. Ezra Duran-Garcia’s hypnotic singing is good not only for its melodic side, but also for its palatable sound effects.
