Arthur King - Caminando

Grotesqualizer

Los Angeles experimental project Arthur King, founded by multimedia artist Peter Walker, introduces the stunning sound environment of the upcoming album “Changing Landscapes (Mina Las Pintadas).”

From the first seconds, “Caminando” brings ghostly, aquatic recordings and an unclear dream of a deep submarine dive, inside of which the straining noises, the anxious mermaid-like singing and the nervous sonar's percussion draw the ear. Over time, drifting on the immense bottom, the smooth drone peals and esoteric flute passages offer a view on an unidentified temple, which strangely phosphoric inner shining affects your mind and strongly attracts it. This eight-minute+ trip is a delightful kraut-trance experience with an entheogenic, productive spirit of the era of Popol Vuh, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, etc.
