Here’s the rumbling and ecstatic 11+ minutes of the debut single by California band Don Escalon created under the effective sound vision of drummer and vocalist Spencer J. Holman II.
“Truth” is boundless noise/kraut steam, seething with pure expression, psychedelia and audacious creativity. In the center of the track, magnetic drumming and heavy bass lines are solidly held together, and the rest is filled with powerful, jamming guitar shamanism, as if inspired by Electric Dragon 80.000 V where, among the energy surges, riffs shape up. Spencer's voice sounds distorted and rebellious, adding some raw, ominous industrial rock textures. And when absorbed in all the details, “Truth” quickly leads to an unmatched euphoria within the chaos, leaving a distinctive aftertaste. Check out the incredible music video for this single
