Belfast, UK rock artist Anja Romer has prepared a fascinating new single.
“Monoxide” is dark surfy rock-n-roll that was born in anger at maniacs stalking women, and here Anja drastically changes course in the vein of revenge exploitation films. The rhythm section creates tension and excitement, while the guitar functions more like a layer, maintaining the atmosphere and melody and delivering a little bit of cool wah-wah solo. Anja's vocal part is precise and confident, cold and playful at the same time. “Monoxide” draws you in completely with its driving boldness.
