The Norwegian electronic and ambient music producer has shared an interesting track from his new EP “I Wanna Go Home.”
On “Desolated Machinery,” Atroxity paints gloomy landscapes of a technogenic desert, and creates music, perfectly suitable for a cyberpunk Neo-Western, using dark ambient techniques. This is how the soundtrack for a remake of “Hardware” or a film adaptation of “Ergo Proxy” could sound like. “Desolated Machinery” is an intense futuristic trip from the remaining black sands and death on the surface through giant obscure labyrinths to underground shelters, where suspicious sellers push illegal combat implants, while the leaders of the bloody new world cults have declared themselves indisputable gods. For fans of Cryo Chamber Collaboration or Atrium Carceri And Cities Last Broadcast, this work will be a great find.
