“Compass” is a surreal sound formation created with the field recordings the artist made in Turkey and the scratching that’s been added later. This is a strange meeting of two parallel worlds: the world of nature and the digital one. And it feels like they exchange information, switching places and exploring each other. The turntable play now reminds of birds' wings flapping, and rain sounds like electronic noise. “Compass” is a song with a quite tempting art vision and interesting finds.
