Lasus - Tonic

Grotesqualizer

London electronic music producer Eamon Foreman has released a two-track EP called “Yelu.”

The EP opener “Tonic” is a very enthralling sonic structure. The beautiful collage is saturated with a mesmeric drum beat, flowing in slow, viscous waters, shielded by a vast fog. The atmospheric sound reflection, it seems to depict a complicated modern worldview with its phantasmagorias and mirages. Past and future, impenetrable swamp of being - this melancholic trip-hop is like a non-existent fusion of Tricky and James Blake. As if Lasus breathed out a steam of confusion into this work.
