In addition to being a photographer, Peruvian-UK artist Jaime Travezan experiments with music in curious ways.
His new work “We Don't Throw Stones To Each Other Anymore” can be called something like Middle Eastern Miami bass. To the dance structure and unobtrusive light melodies, Travezan skillfully adds elements of tribal percussion, deep house synthesizers, funky guitars, and bright Arabic motifs with oud playing and vocal tunes. This work is remarkably magnetizing with its naturalness, taking you deep into the diverse sound areas. “We Don't Throw Stones To Each Other Anymore” shows a dynamic and unusual approach.
