California jazz explorer Dan Rosenboom, as part of a quartet, presents his new composition.
After almost a minute of shamanic insights, the persistent double bass and drums unfold an intriguing canvas. The trumpet and saxophone introduction takes us to an inventive intersection of avant-garde jazz and jazz rock. Rosenboom sails away on the raging waves of the rhythm section with his intricate improvisation that becomes a storm of abstractions by the time the capturing saxophone part starts. Don't miss the artist's new work “Points On An Infinite Line” out on August 14 via his label Orenda Records.
