Drew Hart, a musician based in Brooklyn, presents his isolation project, Foothills.
The first track “Dark Green” from the new album comprises the ambient music was mined and processed with old cassettes and field recordings that Drew got during his solitary walks. This telepathic flicker of sound in the depths of a wet forest thicket attracts both people and spirits. And somewhere out there, Dale Cooper, soaked to the bone, somnambulistically crawls, explores the bare nerves of bizarre overhanging trees aspiring to space that has seen an immense number of years. Drew Hart got out of a deep and strange dream to give us these amazing sound crystals.
