Brygga Tio - Solsyster

Grotesqualizer

A new duo from Stockholm called Brygga Tio has an excellent track on their first EP “Solsyster.”

In the song of the same name, we hear swaying motorik alt-pop with the touches of new wave and indietronica. Or, for example, The Drums could have sounded like that if they had appeared in the decade of Dwight Twilley and Neu!. The sound of Solsyster is invigorating like cold fresh air after a difficult hour thanks to its development, almost tangible atmosphere and Felix Hessel’s vocal casters. The narrator tells of isolation and disconnection, and things that once were of great importance, but now it’s only a bygone moment, released with strange ease.
