“Falling Down” is a bursting single of two sound beasts from DC, Teen Mortgage, from their upcoming EP “Life/Death,” which is already available for pre-order in limited edition of 100 cassette tapes on King Pizza Records.
Just like the previous killer single “Swas,” “Falling Down” is powerful and inviting noise punk, but with the addition of the breaking wave and Seattle sound components. The tricky and reactive guitar, vigorous drum part, thundering chorus melody - all in all, if you marinate, for example, The Cramps' dexterity, the first Death from Above 1979's album, and a photo of Kurt Cobain in pizza sauce and cannabis seeds for the night, then in the morning you’ll get this type of strong extract. Teen Mortgage rushes in here with a fiery hook, breakthrough pace and a fearless approach.
