Burning Bones - Sad Summers Day

Read full review & listen on Grotesqualizer.

The recently released track “Sad Summers Day” by Burning Bones is an interestingly shaped music story capturing sorrow that filled with warmth and love.

The very sounds of the song are so true, they conjure up images of nature. The drums are like crickets, and some occasional bells give sort of rustic flavor. In spite of the melancholic mood, the vocals are very lively, iridescent like a creek. The guitars are consistent like street lights, at times lighting up with a bright flame and pointing in the right direction. The whole song is a gentle, soft wave of sadness, driving you away from the usual contemplative days.
